I am currently working as a Circulation Assistant in a small town public library. It’s a relatively new job since I only started in September of 2013, but I do really enjoy it. So what do I do exactly? I sort, shelve, issue, and receive library materials such as books, movies, and CD’s. I also locate library materials for loan and register new patrons. That is the extent of my experience working in a library setting. Before I started at the Library, I worked in a family owned wholesale liquidation business where we bought and sold merchandise to retailers. I did get a lot of customer service experience from working there. I also enjoyed working with people, helping both customers and suppliers meet their needs.
